Overview
To ensure your direct deposits and ACH payments seamlessly link to corresponding 835 Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) or Explanation of Benefits (EOB) files inside your EHR, activate your ERA enrollment for each payer (TPN Payer ID: T1010). While electronic claim filing (837) is often automatic, receiving electronic remits (835) requires a one-time setup step to connect your billing NPI and Tax ID to the clearinghouse.
Step 1: Activate ERA Enrollment in Your EHR
Locate Payer Settings: Go to your EHR's Settings or Billing section and open Insurance Payers / Clearinghouse Services.
Search for the Payer: Search for T1010 (or the designated payer name).
Review Enrollment Status: Check if the ERA / Remittance status indicates setup is needed.
Submit ERA Request: Click Enroll for ERA (or follow your EHR's quick-enroll wizard) to initiate automated remittance routing.
Step 2: Platform-Specific Quick Links
For software-specific setup guides, refer to these official support resources:

Step 3: Pre-Submission Verification
Exact Match Credentials: Ensure your Billing NPI, Tax ID (TIN), and Provider/Practice Name match your IRS W-9 forms and payer records exactly to ensure seamless clearinghouse routing.
Processing Timeline: Payer ERA connection processing typically completes within 3 to 10 business days after submission.
Accessing Payment Details During Setup
While your automated 835 connection is finalizing, you can easily track and reconcile payments:
Provider Portal: Log in to your provider portal for immediate access to line-item claim breakdowns.
Remittance Reports: Request a manual payment export/CSV from our support team for any recent disbursements.
