Policy Brief & Purpose

This policy is to address the need to provide reasonable accessibility accommodations - in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act - to users who are in need. Since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, all Continuing Education (CE) events have been held in a virtual format, predominately the live interactive webinar format. While physical accessibility to these events have been minimized or eliminated by virtue of their online format, certain accessibility requirements (e.g. for those who are hearing or visually impaired) may be necessary and be requested of TPN.health to ensure fair access to the events.

Scope

This policy refers to all users of TPN.health, individual and organizational.

Procedures

  1. Proactive steps will be taken by TPN.health staff to provide multiple means to obtain information on the company website, promotional materials, and other announcements, including the use of alternate text.

  2. Requests for additional, specific accessibility accommodations for upcoming events may be requested by a user or on a user's behalf by contacting [email protected]. TPN.health asks that requests for accessibility be made no less than 72 hours prior to an event to allow for accommodations to be provided.
