Setting Up Your Group Practice

Step by step guide on adding your group practice to TPN.match

Overview

Setting up your group practice on TPN.match takes two parts: a short onboarding wizard, then three required items on your dashboard. Once all required items are complete, your practice becomes eligible to receive referrals.

This guide is for practice owners and administrators of behavioral health group practices who already have a TPN.health account.

Have these ready before you start:

  • Your group practice's legal name, phone number, and number of clinicians

  • Your practice location address(es)

  • Your group NPI (10 digits) and Tax ID (EIN)

  • Bank account details for payouts

  • A completed W-9 for the practice

  • A referral email and phone number for your practice

  • Names and emails of the providers you want to add

You can skip some steps during the wizard and finish them later from your dashboard.

Part 1

Switch to TPN.match

Log in to TPN.health. In the top-left corner, next to the TPN logo, click the TPN.match side of the toggle. You can switch between TPN.health and TPN.match at any time.

Join as a Group Practice

Click Join as a Group Practice.

Choose Join as a Solo Practice instead only if you are an individual provider without a group. To read more about the network first, click Learn More.

Enter your group practice details

Fill in the Add a New Group Practice form. All three fields are required:

  • Group Practice: your practice's name

  • Number of Clinicians: how many clinicians work at the practice

  • Phone Number: the practice's main phone number

The person completing this step becomes the primary admin. The primary admin manages providers, billing, and settings, and signs the partnership agreement. Check I confirm I'm authorized to set up and manage this group practice, then click Next.

Tell us your role

Answer "Will you also see clients at this practice?"

  • No, I only manage the practice: you'll set up the practice only.

  • Yes, I also treat clients here: you'll complete setup for both the practice and yourself as a provider. You'll also need to verify your license and complete credentialing, and you'll appear on your own provider roster with both Admin and Provider roles.

Click Next.

Add locations and confirm telehealth

Under Practice Locations, click Add to enter each practice address. Your first address is marked Primary Location; use the pencil icon to edit an address.

Once a location is saved, Minimum Rates shows typical earnings for common billing codes in that area (for example, CPT 90837 and 99214). Click View Full Rate Schedule to see every rate.

If your practice offers telehealth, check We offer remote (telehealth) services. Your providers will be matched with clients in the states where they are licensed. Click Next.

Set up payments

To receive payments for completed sessions:

  1. Click Add next to Connect Bank Account and follow the prompts to securely link your bank account.

  2. Under Group Practice, enter your 10-digit group NPI Number and your Tax ID (EIN, formatted XX-XXXXXXX).

If you don't have this information handy, click I'll do this later. You'll finish it from your dashboard, but your practice can't receive referrals until it's done.

Review and accept the agreement

Review the compensation terms and the Representations and Warranties. By accepting, you confirm that:

  • You have never been excluded, suspended, barred, or restricted from Medicare, Medicaid, or any other federal program.

  • There are no legal actions pending or threatened against you that could interfere with the agreement.

  • You have authority to sign the agreement and have no conflicts of interest.

Click View Full Agreement to read the complete Master Services Provider Agreement. Then check all three boxes in the Acceptance section and click Accept & Continue.

Accepting turns on referrals for your practice so clients can be matched to you. You can turn this off anytime from your dashboard.

Part 2

After the wizard, you land on your TPN.match Home dashboard. Your practice won't receive referrals until all three items under Required to receive referrals are complete. The counter (for example, 0/3) tracks your progress, and each card changes from Incomplete once it's done.

The Accepting Referrals? toggle in the top right controls whether your practice is open to new referrals. Use the practice switcher next to it if you manage more than one practice.

Referral Settings

This tells referring providers how to reach your practice.

  1. Click the Referral Settings card.

  2. Enter your Referral Email and Referral Phone. Use a shared inbox or main line that your intake team monitors.

  3. Confirm the Number of Providers at your practice.

  4. Click Save.

Add Providers

Click the Add Providers card to open Manage Providers. The roster shows each provider's role, profile status, license and credential verification status, last update, and location. If you said you also treat clients, you'll already see yourself listed with Admin and provider roles.

Use the tabs at the top to filter by All Providers, Active Providers, or Pending Invites. To add someone, click Add Provider and choose one option:
