How to Maximize Referral Visibility

TPN.match referrals are always matched based on the best clinical fit. To ensure that you are being matched with the most appropriate referrals, here are tips for maximizing your referral visibility:

  1. Be sure to credential with TPN.match. TPN.match credentialing is fast, easy, free, and required. Instructions linked here.

  2. Fill in all required and recommended fields on your TPN.match profile. Most TPN.match referrals result from a unique match between the client and the individual provider to ensure the best clinical fit.

    1. See group practice instructions below for adding providers to your group

  3. Add all of your licenses. Referrals only go to providers licensed in the state where the member is located. The more licenses you add, the more potential you have for a strong match.

  4. Include a photo on your profile. Our members have given us feedback that they like to see photos of their potential providers and that they want to see what a provider truly looks like - not an AI version of themselves, and not an out-of-date photo.

  5. Keep your profile up to date. We recommend updating your profile at least quarterly.

  6. Add TPN.health as a payer to your website and any directories that you’re listed in.

  7. Be on the lookout for emails from us. We move quickly, so be sure to respond when we have a match! There are never any penalties for declining a referral for any reason, but if we don’t hear back from you we won’t continue reaching out with future referrals.

For Group Practices:

Most TPN.match referrals result from a unique match between the client and the individual provider to ensure the best clinical fit. Individual profiles have greater visibility to our Care Navigation team when making referrals, so be sure to invite or add (and credential) all of your providers.
